Elf is a strong swimmer.

Every parent needs a dog that can save the day when her 2 yr old throws his shoe wwwwaaaayyyyy out in the lake...  Who knew a 2 yr old could throw so far anyway?

Elf has been an utterly amazing addition to our family.  She came here at 6 mos of age and by roughly a year old, she was already trained mostly through utility.  We held her out a bit longer to let her mature before beginning to show her.  She finished her RN at 14 mos of age and has just kept going!  She moved up through the rally classes, often finishing a title and getting a leg in the next level up the following day.  She did so with several perfect scores and many placements.  Still trying to slow her down some, we entered her in pre-novice obedience classes and gave her a couple runs with the lead remaining on.  She did well and completed her CD in nothing flat, then going on to finish her CDX a mere 4 months after getting her CD both at the age of 2 yrs old!  She ended the year in the top 10 for Tollers in obedience and received an Honorable Mention from Front and Finish for being the #2 Toller in Open A Obedience according to Front and Finish.  She and Christi also earned the prestigious Evelyn Williams Award for their efforts as well.  We're going to take a little break and continue training for Utility and field.  Also of note is that Elf took a point in conformation as well.  We hope to finish her versatility title in the coming year.  Be looking for us in the field and utility ring soon.
